Why Blog?

For years I have been reading blogs of all kinds and dreaming of starting my own.  When reading blogs, I love how the authors share their creativity and give us asmall window into their lives.  My favorite blogs inspire me to think differently and try new things.  I feel a sense of connections to the author and other readers, even though we have never met.

Why Now?

I truly believe it is never too late to try something new and do the things you want to do.  I know this blog is still a work in progress and it is ok to be a beginner.   I may not know exactly where my writing will take me and for now that ‘s ok.

I call my blog

Living in the Moments

because I believe that this is where our lives happen, in the small everyday moments.  And while I know this is true, it is also easy to forget.  I am easily caught up in my goals and to do lists, forgetting to pause and appreciate what is right in front of me.

We can all use a little more joy and a little less stress.

and maybe with a little more present moment awareness, we can find it.  I am glad you are here.  I hope you find something that speaks to you and that we build a feeling of connection and communtiy along the way.

When I am not working on this blog you can find me working my day job, chasing adventures with my husband and pursuing all of the hobbies and crafts at once.

Let’s stay connected.  Sign up for my newsletter and receive a free printable to use in tracking your small moments.
